Stage 1

TIME TRIAL

Individual Uphill time trial, from the village of Alcudia to the Ermita de la victoria. The last steep slopes, will be the perfect
start to the 6th Mallorca Handbike Tour.

Stage 2 - Route

PLATJA DE MURO - CAMI DE S'ALBUFERA - SA POBLA

52,5 km. + 3 km. neutralized
40 m. uphill +

Completely flat Stage. The start line will bé situated after 2,5 km of neutralized section from viva blue hotel on the 7th km of Es murterar road (Ma-3433). From there the circuit starts heading Sa Pobla until Camí gran de Son Amer and connect with the old road of Sa Pobla – Can Picafort. After that we’ll take the camí de ses Tanquetes, to connect another time with Es Murterar road in the 2nd kilometer!
From there the athletes from H3-W3 to H5-W5 starts 3 laps in a circuit of 15 km. The athletes from H1-H2 and W1-W2 categories will do 2,5 laps at the same circuit.

Stage 3 - Mountain

PLAYA DE MURO - PORT POLLENÇA - FORMENTOR - PORT DE POLLENÇA

53 km. + 6 km (neutralized)
1.300 m. uphill+

Main stage of the event. The athletes will start the track in Playa de Muro, where the first 5 km will be neutralized until the begining of Bahía de Pollença, where the stage starts.
The athletes will face the big challenge to go to Cape Formentor and back, to enjoy of the most natural environment of the island, in a closed circuit. The handbikers will arrive at the finsih line, for one final descent form the Mirador de Sa creu to the Badia de Pollença.

Stage 4

TEAM RELAY

6 km./handbiker

The handbikers will face a 2 km. totally flat circuit, in the vicinities of Viva Blue Hotel in Playa de Muro. The three athlete teams will have the objective of making three laps to each circuit, each one, in three different relays. The strategy and the order of the competition will be a key factor to win the race.
In order to be able to form a team, it will be necessary to add a total of 6 scores (depending on the handicap), according to the current UCI regulations.
